The Alpine Academy is a number of group homes using a internal school near Erda, Utah

They can detain a total of 50 girls in the group homes.

The stay last between 10 and 12 months.

It was founded in 2001 [1]

The parent company is named Utah Youth Village, Inc.[2]. They also run a counseling program for Utah parents [3].

The group homes are placed in a dense populated area so the escapes are few.

Each home has alarms monitoring activity in each room [5]
