The Alpine Academy is a number of group homes using a internal school near Erda, Utah

They can detain a total of 50 girls in the group homes.

The stay last between 10 and 12 months.

It was founded in 2001 [1]

The parent company is named Utah Youth Village, Inc.[2]. They also run a counseling program for Utah parents [3].

Program structure

The group homes are placed in a dense populated area so the escapes are few.

  • Pine Canyon Home
  • Willow Creek Home
  • Oak Ridge Home
  • Cottonwood Grove Home

Each home has alarms monitoring activity in each room [5]

The program is on Heal-online's investigation list [6].
